Another fail to work

First I have to admit that I am clinging on by my fingertips here! I am a bit old for this kind of stuff (mid 70's) but really would like to get it to work. I think I have followed the instructions but must have made an error.

Nothing much happens when I run csv2ft.cmd.

If I try to run csv20fx.exe in a command prompt I get this error:
error: boost::bad_any_cast: failed conversion using boost::any_cast

I suspect I am missing some key understanding Any suggestions?

I have confirmed that if I open a command prompt and run CSV2ofx.exe after manually giving it all the required parameters for my FT .csv file it works correctly and updates the prices in Money.

It therefore appears that my problem is with CSV2ft.cmd which looks like this:
_set PROGRAM=C:\Works\csv2ofx.exe
set DOWNLOAD=C:\Downloads

IF '%1' NEQ '' ( "%PROGRAM%" --colsym 1 --colprice 2 --colcurrency 3 --colname 0 --colfund 5 --stripsuffix 1 --file %1) ELSE (FOR %%i IN ("%DOWNLOAD%\Money
*.csv") DO "%PROGRAM%" --colsym 1 --colprice 2 --colcurrency 3 --colname 0 --debug 1 --colfund 5 --stripsuffix 1 --file %%i)
I have my FT.csv file in C:\Downloads and the csv2ofx.exe in C:\ Works

I have appended the text from my FT.csv file below. I hope this gives some clues as to what I am doing wrong.

Incidentally, when it did work, the update set all the holdings in my Dummy account back to 0 by removing all the shares. This had the effect of also removing all the historical share prices that I had added using the hleOfxQuotes method.

Firstly, it sounds like you need the config file and the associated --addshares option, Sunset edition doesn't need this. You can put the correct number for your shares in the file to increment it, like hleOfxQuotes does. There's a note in the documentation wiki about this.

You do need to change the location of the program and download in the ,cmd file - obviously you will not download the money csv files to the same directory I do. (note- make sure there's no _ on the first line like you have pasted above). You need to change the top 2 lines to the relevant directories, and the options as you need them to be.

then double-clicking in in explorer should run the program. See the other issue that was posted.
